Tri County Tournament Labor Day Weekend

The Tri County Tournament is being hosted this Labor Day weekend at the Albany Tennis Club.  No courts are available on Saturday.  Limited courts are availabile on Sunday and Monday.
 
Pull Tabs for Ronald McDonald House

Thank you to all who have taken the time to gather pull tabs from your tennis ball cans and soda cans.  Let’s gather the last of them up and hand them in this week.  We collect them at table number 1.
 
Attendants Next Week

After Labor Day there will no longer be an attendant at the Club in the evenings.  Programs such as Community Tennis and Doubles Night will continue but you will have to put your foursome together and find a court on your own.  I am sure you can do it.  Guest passes and fees are still required and I’ll be stopping by to pick them up and close the courts at sunset.
 
Take Monday off if you can and have a nice long weekend.

Tennis Groups

            Are you new to the Albany Tennis Club?  Not sure how to get involved with the programs?  We have an ATC Ambassador Program.  Current members have volunteered to be an Ambassador.  The Ambasssador will call the new member, decide on some play dates, invite them into some groups and participate in some programs.  The ATC is a community of friendly tennis players.  Let me know if you need an ATC Ambassador.

Hit with Ed – Monday and Thursday at 5:30 pm, Saturday at 1 pm
Bernice’s Ladies League - Tuesday and Thursday at 9 am
Community Tennis – Tuesday, 6 pm, Thursday, 6 pm, Saturday, 1 pm, Sunday, 2 pm
Beginner Group Lessons – Saturday at 12 pm and Sunday at 1 pm
Super Duper Seniors – Tuesday and Thursday at 9 am
                Masters in the Morning – Tuesday and Thursday at 9 am
                The Breakfast Club – Wednesday at 7 am

There are two e-mail groups that I use to keep everyone informed of all the great activities at the Albany Tennis Club.  The ATC e-mail group is used approximately weekly to send out the Manager’s Sunday Night E-Mail and other similar communications and daily, if necessary, to broadcast court conditions.  I have another e-mail group which I have had for many years called Mashmann Tennis Club (MTC).  The MTC e-mail group is used daily for setting up matches, community tennis, etc. If you want to receive daily e-mails you need to be a member of the MTC e-mail group.  The members who are just in the ATC e-mail group will not receive the daily e-mails.  Just let me know if you want me to add you to the MTC e-mail group.  If you are a new member of ATC let me know and I will add you to the ATC e-mail group.
